National Day of Catalonia
The Diada is celebrated at the Royal Botanic Garden, with the Sydney Opera House as background. At this internationally well-known spot, the Casal supports annually the political fight for the self-determination of Catalonia. The day includes a performance by the Sydney Human Towers and complimentary appetisers for all those attending, followed by a picnic.
